CFMyAdmin Configuration

There is little-to-no configuration of CFMyAdmin! - Everything is taken care of automatically!

Disable/Enable ROOT Login

Open up the file Options.cfm in the Settings folder and edit the options_Security_RootAllowed variable.

Valid entries are  : YES | NO

Setting User Permissions

Open up the file Options.cfm in the Settings folder and edit the options_SecurityLevel variable.

Value Level Description
1 Low Save connection and password
5 Medium Save connection without password
10 High Do not save connections

 

Folder Structure

The Settings folder can be found in the folder you installed CFMyAdmin to.

The file to edit to set user permissions is options.cfm

This file also stores the MySQL ODBC Driver Connection String to future proof for newer ODBC connection strings that may be introduced in the future.
